Primarily grown in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, Mundu chillies are small and round with a thick skin. This type of chilli is also known as the Ramnad S-9 or Gundu Molzuka chilli. With a relatively low spice level but unique flavour, it is used widely in many popular south Indian dishes.
